DINNER in AMERICA
Disassembling the ‘American Dream’ to the rhythm of punk rock
Client: No Picky Year: 2023
The American dream does not exist. 'Dinner in America' feels more like a nightmare. The album cover emerges from a critique of the American consumer model, articulated through a cartoon aesthetic that contrasts with the pessimism of the discourse.
This aesthetic was also adopted by musical influences for the band, like ‘Ramones’ and ‘The Queers’. All merchandise for the album release revolves around concepts such as mass production and the parallelism between 'Fast food' and 'Fast music'.
